Returning to school was very rejuvenating for me. Unlike people who were done with assignments and homework forever, I was only craving it more. The structured learning in a classroom was so boring by the end of my undergraduate that I did not think I would want it badly back in my life.

While working as a data scientist, I had to constantly keep up with new techniques in machine learning, some new tricks of SQL data mining, and figure out novel methods of keeping the laptop next to my bed without interrupting my sleep while it runs some code that only turns out to be wrong at the end of a very long run time. I learned a bunch of graph and network-related things in the following classes: Graph theory, complex networks, network models, and social networks. In addition, there were some machine learning and neural networks. You know the usual that people cannot do without these days.
